Modern dance, is
a form of dance that formed and evolved since the early 20th century
(Horosko, 2002.P.1). In some places that have not been so familiar
Modern dance as in Indonesia, ballroom dance and concert dance are also still
considered as part of this modern dance. But when seen from the background
the historical, modern dance was actually pioneered by dancers from
United States, as well as dancers in several countries in Western Europe
