Puisi Pagi (?)

dahaga pagi membuka paksa mata ini
sisa metabolisme memaksa keluar dari tubuh ini
kering meraba penopang kepala ini
tubuh sial ini memaksaku menyapa pagi

turunku seakan di iring bencana
bukan gempa bumi, namun lemas kaki
bukan beliung berputing, namun kepala berpusing
bukan tsunami, namun air tubuh tak sabar berseni

didampingi sekarton susu
kan ku manfaatkan pagi ini
pagi hari awal februari
kupandang mengernyit sinar mentari

dari sepetak beton balkon ku cerna kota ibu tiri
berputar mentari berkali kali (?)
berjejer persegi, meliuk seperti.. menari(??)
indah nan aneh pagi ini..

terhanyutku kedalam puisi pagi
kutenggak lagi sekarton susu bertuliskan "Januari"
ku tersadar
ini aku bukan berpuisi
ini aku mabok susu basi

Short Story

"The Philosopher"

Put others before you or yourself before the others. That was what Reini thought about really hard recently after these incidents happened when she was going to work. Reini often saw these kind of incident but never felt as guilty as now. Because in some way she was the reason why those incidents happened. The first incident happened this morning when she went to work. It was seemed usual for her like every other days, she bought a cup of black coffee and a bagel on her way to the bus station. Reini knew about the food regulation in the bus though, she just like the coffee accross the street she usually passed by and also she hated her office's coffee. So after waited for awhile her bus was finally arrived. She took the same bus since her first day work and she knew her driver who took her to work every morning. And a morning greet followed by "Miss" was what she always heard from the driver and she always replied him and straight to look for an empty seat, because it wss quite far where she was heading. Sometimes she got a seat and sometimes she didn't. And that day fortunately she saw an empty seat, but unfortunately she was outfast-ed by a guy that looked fit for 24 hour standing on a bus olympic if it was exist. "well, standing like usual." she said to herself. While standing she tried to keep her coffee not spilling out cause this terrible road had tilt her right to left. but she didnt remember the road was this bad before or maybe the driver really had a bad day. Thought about the driver while keeping herself up from falling, she didnt remember have replied his greeting, or did he ever greet her in the first place. She started to feel sore on her feet, the road is killing her and the first stop is the longest one. A minute later the bus announced that it has arrived at the first stop. And appearantly it was the guy's who-outfast-ed-her-and-took-her-seat stop. "What a lazy guy, sat just for one stop." she thought. She bolted down right away to the seat right before it was taken by this old man which just came in. after she took the seat, the old man still didnt realize that behind him there was Reini who already took the seat. And at the same time the bus was moving, the old man pushed forward while tried to sit on reini and fell instead. she was shocked by it and immediately help the old man up but the old man started yelling at her. he thought it was her fault he fell headfirst. Reini was confused and felt a little guilt that shown on her face. Before she had the chance giving up her seat for him to show her apologize, another guy already stood up and give him his seat. with a judging look the guy stood there in front of Reini. Reini felt ashame. but she started defend herself inside her mind and said "my feet was hurt and I didnt see the old man trying to sit here." to herself and started to forget it. And that thought flashed on her mind. Should we put ourself before others or others before ourself?

On the next stop two stops before Reini's, there was a pregnant lady step into the bus uneasily. Before something bad happen to the pregnant lady, reini gave up her seat for her. The lady said thanks to her and she replied with a smile. Reini thought she was doing the right thing. The moment she thought about doing the right thing, the bus started to take a sharp turn without any warning. reini almost fall onto the pregnant lady but she could stop it from happening by held onto the bus window. *splash* there goes her coffee poured out all over the pregnant lady. "OUCH..!" screamed the lady. "I'm so sorry." said reini while she wiped her coffee off of the lady's pregnant belly and head. "OMG, what have I done." thought her in guilt. then the bus anounced the next stop and she felt relief because it was the last stop before her destination and it was the pregnant lady's stop so she felt less embarassed after the coffee incident. While the bus continued to the next stop, which is hers, alot of thought started coming to her mind again. "what is wrong with me.. when I was put myself first before others, I got into trouble. the second, I put the others before myself, I still got into troubles. so which is right or perhaps less wrong? and these actual examples didnt help me, at all.". She hardly swallowed all of the informations happened in a relatively short frequent time. burried deep in her thought, she started to feel something is wrong. it took too long for the bus to take her to her stop. She looked out through the window, and yes, it wasnt her usual route. she bolted up and ask the driver why there was no anouncement at the previous stop. And he simply said "I forgot it mam, I'm so sorry I'm new here." And that was the answer of all her question.

the essence of life 2

        Life. it simple but also complicate.normally we are alive if we are still breathing and thinking. but it isn't fully describe about living. we can't just breath and think for living. even plants can do more than that. life is to short to filled with simple things. in a blink of an eye you see yourself getting older when you stand up in front of a mirror. and you start to think, where has your life gone? what has happen to you? and what force on earth that makes your life just flies away in a blink of an eye? is it a real life? or is it just fantasy? the only thing left from your past  only sweet bitter recalls. even things that pass through times can't do much if you don't remember a thing about it. 

     Let's be honest, who doesn't afraid of death? nothing in this world dare to see death in front of their eyes. but, while you frightened by death, you make your life more valueable. never undervalued even a second of your life, it worths everything in this world combine. you never could replace it with anything. you just can look forward to it and never do it again. And knows that someday you'll gone from this world matured your perspective. You don't know what is important until it's taken from you. But not for your life. you must realize it before it is takrn from you, because you'll never take it back anymore. life is a journey. you'll pass everything if you didn't enjoy it. you'll keep doing the same fault if you had not learn from your mistake. Fill your journey with joy and kindness to others. Because your last destination is death and you can't miss it. did you ever imagine what is afterworld looks like? is there a place that we will lived in for eternity? no one knows until our day is come. So respect your life and another's.

CHILDREN OF LIFE

life was simple

you never starve you just hungry

you never depressed you just sad

you never exhausted you just tired

you never evil you just bad

nobody calls you lazy for not doing a thing

nobody calls you crazy for do such thing

spend the days like there is no tomorrow

no schedules to follow

a simple thing erased your sorrow

everything is a lesson for you to know

pure happiness is what you felt,

no responsibilities to be concerned

your skin never tasted skin belt
everything you've had was not what you've earned

maybe some not having the same

while they play no game

and they work like a dog

then sleep covered by fog

a full belly is all they need to end misery

to them tomorrow is more than a mistery

you know you were lucky

they had what you didn't to worry

those days pass in an open of eyelids

only memories stay, even some flee

let us all save the kids

don't let them go through it prematurely

• avoid using taxi as possible as you can, most of the tourist scams happen in taxi

• always noted the address of where you're staying in case you were lost alone with no helpful devices you could use

• if you choose to travel with a guide, make sure they are professional, legitimate guide

• try learn some words of the national language youre going to. some custom if needed

• bring some extra dollar with you and put them in a secure, uncommon place fo instance, inside your shoes, underware just in case the country you were at is a developing country which the payment of some puchases are rarely using visa or credit card.

• if you want to untie a dead knot of a plastic bags, laces, or ropes. try to twist the end part first, then push it in through the knot.

• you can use bobby pin for as an alternative tool to clean you ears, because sometimes q-tip did not do the job well enough or you are out of it. remember to clean it first.

• if you ever get caught in a burning house or building, crawl to the nearest emergency exit or stay low until helps come. breathable air will be near the floor.

 

• if you have a hard time swallowing huge pill medicine of yours, there is an easy way to do it. first put the pill(s) in your mouth under your tounge. then take a large amount sip of water, let the pill(s) drown in the water so it is easier to swallow, just like sipping a water. the bitter of the pills will not be present anymore.

• wants to iron your clothes but there is no iron around or the only iron around is broken? you can heat your stainless steel pot and use it as an alternative way ironing your clothes.

'Inside Man' Movie reviews

this movie is about a bank robbery and hostage done by a gang of 5 robbers. they are not amateur, ordinary robbers. by wearing painting suits, half-face mask, gloves and sunglasses they rob the banks. they geniusely prepared all the plans from the first step to the escape plan. they really did not miss any details to make their action works without any chance of failure. to make the authorities confused they dressed all the fifty hostages up with the exact same outfits as them. after the authorities and detectives arrive the scene they had a hard time to end the robbery without having a hostage injured or worse. at the last moment the authorities made a hard decision, they choosed to infiltrate the bank and taking the robbers down by force. but this plan was already discovered by the robbers and they had execute their last move to get out from the bank safe and sound by setting all the hostages free walk out the door with them to make police officers outside the bank confuse them with the hostages. and because their true identity had not revealed yet, the detective who did the investigation couldn't get any slightest clue about them and tell them apart from the hostages. but strangely there are no money get stolen from this robbery. after a long investigation, it turns out that the bank posessed a controversial deposit that was stolen by the robbers and it belongs to the owner of the bank double as the mayor. that's not even the best part. the mind blowing part is that the leader and the mastermind of the robbery was actually hiding inside the bank in a secret compartment made by him and his associates when they bought times while they did some negotiations with the police officers and the detectives.

the plot is really mind twisting and mind blowing. played amazingly by some awesome actors such as Denzel Washington, Willem Defoe, and Chiwetel ejiofor. for an action movie this one doesn't have too much explotion or gun shooting. the screenplay sounds realistic not like typical hollywood  movie. it is a must-see movie.
